Three Microchip PIC 28 Pin Circuit Boards, Basic Atom - $7 +S/H
14. March 2009 by admin.
These 2″ x 2″ circuit boards were originally design for the 28 pin PIC16F876A Basic Atom interpreter chips but also make great development boards for any 28 pin PIC development project. I have a bunch of these in my lab and just need to get rid of them. The board layout includes:
- TO-220 Regulator Circuit
- RS232 Level Shifter Circuit with DB9 Connector
- Resonator Connections
- Filter Caps
- I/O Pins Connections
The schematic can be found at this link:
http://basicmicro.com/downloads/docs/Atom28Chip.pdf
You get all three boards for $7.00 plus shipping. See the Ebay listing at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160318003544QQssPageNameZMERC_VIC_RCRX_Pr4_PcY_BIN_IT&refitem=160315330366&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=closed_view_item&usedrule1=CrossSell_LogicX&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget&_trksid=p284.m183&_trkparms=algo%3DCRX%26its%3DS%252BI%26itu%3DUCI%252BSI%26otn%3D4

emWin: PC Evaluation Version
12. March 2009 by admin.
emWin is written in ANSI “C” and can handle any LCD, any resolution and any color depth. There is no need to change the source code of the application to use the software for different color depths. All you need to do is to modify the configuration file.

Whoa! Microchip Acquires HI-TECH & Offers Discounts on Compilers!
10. March 2009 by admin.
From now until September 30, 2009, Microchip is offering a 20% discount on Microchip development tools for HI-TECH customers through http://www.microchipdirect.com, and a 50% exchange discount to owners of HI-TECH compilers for non-Microchip products. Please contact HI-TECH for details.
HI-TECH’s customers should continue to contact HI-TECH through the normal sales and support channels that existed prior to this acquisition. In order to provide the best possible products for Microchip microcontrollers and digital signal controllers, the HI-TECH team will now focus its energies exclusively on Microchip-related products. Existing support agreements for other products will be honored for the duration of those agreements. For more information, please visit HI-TECH’s Web site at http://www.htsoft.com or contact HI-TECH at support@htsoft.com.
In addition to purchasing through the HI-TECH Web site, all HI-TECH compilers for Microchip’s PIC MCUs and dsPIC DSCs are also available from http://www.microchipdirect.com. Additionally, Microchip customers can now contact Microchip Technical Support at http://support.microchip.com for any of their HI-TECH compiler support needs.

Free Demo of the MPC C Compiler For PIC
6. March 2009 by admin.
MPC supports the Microchip PIC
· an optimizing C Cross-compiler
· the BCLink linker
· an Integrated Development Environment and editor
· a built-in macro cross-assembler.
MPC includes enhanced memory management such as LOCAL and SPECIAL memory directives. The LOCAL address space directive allows the user to maximize the use of RAM, direct the placement of local variables, re-use RAM locations and pass multiple arguments to functions. The SPECIAL memory directive adds support for variables in all types of memory, external or internal.
