The Serial Gateway to Ethernet by IPLogika provides an easy Ethernet connection using simple UART communications. It allows the use of a TCP/IP stack, without licenses, supporting HTTP, TFTP, DHCP, socket-level UDP and TCP. Supports full TCP/IP access with very little effort, saving development costs.

The Serial Gateway connects to a host system through two rows of header pins (0.1 inch spacing) that carry standard UART signals. It communicates with the host using high level AT commands. Includes web server mode that allows remote control of embedded applications with the capability to write and/or read up to 29 variables. Also supports SMTP protocol for sending emails with text file attachments. The RJ45 connector on board is EMI protected with LED indicator. 5VDC tolerant, small size. Note: The IPLogika Evaluation Kit ([1] TIPL400) includes this unit along with a breakout board and RS-232 interface
