BeRTOS is a real time open source operating system supplied with drivers and libraries designed for the rapid development of embedded software.

Community edition is the complete BeRTOS version, with all the functionality and source code available.

It’s released unde the modified GPL license http://www.bertos.org/support/license/) which means it’s free, even for closed source or commercial projects.

They have also developed a SDK for Windows, very useful to avoid losing time in configuring the whole working environment through the command
line.
